Hi, I’m Jocelyn Dornfeld
I am so glad we have crossed paths!
The time is now for me to do something that I have ALWAYS wanted to do and that is to start my own YouTube channel that is dedicated to decorating! Seasons, holidays, DIY, salvage hunting, floral arrangements and wreaths! And that’s just the beginning 🙂
I will be posting videos on decorating, DIY, or various adventures where I discover amazing unique finds! I will always include where I purchased certain items and links.
Please check out and SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/c/JocelynDornfeld/
You can also follow me on Pinterest at: https://www.pinterest.com/jocelyndornfeld/

I’ve been so inspired by all of you for many years. Your ideas. You posts. Your videos. Now, I’d like to join you in inspiring others. And if you have an idea you’d like me to try, please send me a message!
Cheers!

There will be a day I can no longer do this. Today is not that day.

Meet the Founder (and her partner in crime)
Wife. Mother. Daughter. Sister. Friend. God fearing Christian. Loves wine in the cold months and tequila in the warm months. Any day that I get to hang out with my husband and daughter or digging through salvage shops goes down as an amazing day in my life.
My partner in crime 🙂
Daughter. Friend. God fearing Christian. Loves mint chocolate chip ice cream and gymnastics. Alivia’s perfect day is hanging out with her cousins and friends. She often breaks out into random dance moves. Enjoys school. Crafting queen. Keeps her room very clean (without being told!)

A tiny bit about me.
I started out my adult-ish life in the accounting department of a 4th generation construction company in Madison, WI. This was my first “big city” job. I was growing up. I bought my first pair of dark red high heels and my husband nicknamed them “the Madison shoes”. I smile to this day about that because after that, my shoe collection earned its own zip code.
I worked my way up within the construction company and earned the role of Vice President. In this role, I had taken over the marketing for the company and very much enjoyed the creative process my boss and I had. We’d order breakfast at a local restaurant and a TON of coffee and would sit for hours laughing and writing radio, TV, and ad scripts. Half the time I’d have to say “we can’t say that!” and we’d both burst into laughter again.
After I had our daughter Alivia, I decided to work closer to home. The construction office was over an hour away and that just wasn’t going to work for us. I teamed up with a workplace chaplaincy program that connected me to a restoration company. Not restoration as in restoring historic homes but disaster restoration –restoring homes and buildings after a fire or a flood.
I fell in love with the disaster restoration industry on day one. Instantly I felt a deep connection in the work I was doing with the people we were helping. No one wants to experience a fire, but someone has to be there to help clean it up. We restored properties and we restored lives.
After collectively working in construction and restoration for ten years, I wanted to help more companies with their marketing so I ventured out on my own. I launched my marketing company in 2016 and in 2017, I opened up a coworking company in downtown Madison, WI.
Word of advice. Don’t EVER start two companies at the same time. Ever…
Fast forward to today. I have ALWAYS wanted to start my own YouTube channel on decorating.
I am excited to start this new journey and share my ideas! Please follow along with me as I change out the seasons, deck the holidays, and DIY my way through life! I am blessed to have this opportunity and I hope that my decorating inspires you to style your own beautiful creations. Okay then – enough jabbering, let’s get started!
